What does Sütaş do for the development and prosperity of society?

Our “Farm to Table” integrated business model, a regional development model with economic and social impacts and inclusiveness, mobilizes many diversified sub-sectors in agriculture, industry, and service.

We support our contracted forage crop producers in many areas, from soil preparation to proper seed selection, efficient irrigation systems development, and organic and organomineral fertilizers procurement and harvesting, to boost their efficiency. In 2021, we carried out contracted feed production with 593 contracted producers on approximately 34,000 decares of land.

We also collaborated with our dairy farmers in briefings, site supervision, and right seed selection guidance, which resulted in a 6.3 percent yield increase on a year-on-year basis.

Another priority is to contribute to our sector's development and train a quality workforce, which is much needed in the industry. We provide free training to dairy farmers at our Dairy Training Center. We convey the information, knowledge, and experience necessary for the producers to obtain milk at high standards and efficiency. We also provide training on environmental protection, efficient fertilizer use, and financial sustainability. Additionally, we offer hands-on courses, workplace training, and internship opportunities at Sütaş for university students in the regions of our facilities in the departments related to the milk value chain.
